interestingly it seems the front knob is same as earlier models as often Teac re-used earlier parts

From a scrapped 22-2 but I guess is the 22-4 and maybe some other models

you will need to add a drop of any standard all purpose glue just to keep it from sliding although the Akai's had knurled edged rollers

this seems to be a pretty standard shaft that Tascam and TEAC have used for some time now for sure it fits the bearings i have for an A3440 etc
