For these works I created a surface on the pastel paper with site specific pigments beside the reed beds of Black grass or Black reeds using their fallen leaves to “print” on the surface of the paper

The poster measures 60 x 80cm or 24 x 32 inches

I built layers of sheet music tearing carefully or folding as I bound the surface together

I am always excited to bring work back from the fields to the studio
