The condition of some these panels is not 100% perfect as at the sides of the panels there is some slight chipping at the bends

Used in the Tascam 244 and others used 60khz

but I have seen some very badly stored units

Maybe you have a unit thats got one or more channels down

Soundcraft Saturn 624 tape tension arm assembly with Kinetrol continous damper P228 sensor Style:left The condition of some theseThese are really expensive damper sensors by Kinetrol who are world leaders in this type of unit, I understand now why these machines were expensive and how the Saturn's were famous for having very very good and fast tape transport as they had huge motors and great sensors, really well designed I have a left and right arm ( price for one) the sensor is the same on both but the arms are different, these are HUGE money new
