In my scan the focus does not appear as good as the image looks in hand

holding drumsticks and standing next to a stand on which sit a drum and his hat/kepi

A small table with tablecloth design is partially visible

Ambrotype is in very good antique condition

Miniature 1/16 Tintype Girl Hidden Mother Scarce Sleeping Monk Union Case Rare id'd In my scan the focusOriginal 1 16 tintype photo of a child in a big straw hat, held by his her mother, who is partially visible. In a thermoplastic case showing a sleeping friar resting against a tree, which I believe is hard to find. Case is about 2" x 2" when closed. As a whole, this is in very good or better antique condition. Case is very nice, clicks and stays closed.
