2016 Ao Yun Shangri-La Cabernet 750ml Gustave Lorentz Jancis Robinson MW: 17/20Ao Yun is a Chinese winery founded by LVMH, known for its single red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in Yunnan, near the Himalayan foothills and Mekong River, at elevations of 2200 2600m. The 2016 vintage is a blend of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, 4% Syrah and 2% Petit Verdot. It's deep ruby, has lifted herbaceous aroma and plum fruit notes with subtle oak, high alcohol and balanced acidity and tannins, it will age well
