Monument, London mb-width 4439 in the Parish of StCaius Gabriel Cibber's allegorical relief on the west side of Monument's base, London, c1740. It depicts King Charles II with his retinue coming to the ruined City of London's aid. In the background behind the City people run from burning houses, behind the King, workmen on scaffolding rebuild the houses. In the lower margin is a key.
