Platinum Carbon Black Ink document ink then finished in 24-karat goldThis is one of my favorite everyday black inks. Its permanent incredibly water resistant and lightfast while also being just a wonderfully performing ink. It dries quickly, flows well, and has a nice dark color with the tiniest bit of sheen. Here's a demonstration of Platinum Carbon Black's waterproofness: A word of warning: dont load this ink into hard to clean pens or clear demonstrators (it can stain). Handle carefully. Enjoy.
