Sir Robert Titchborne, Mayor of London c1656 mb-code 1624605 Inscribed: 'MILTON SMITH & CoSir Robert Titchborne, Mayor of London c1656 (1886). Titchborne (c1610 1682) served as Lord Mayor of London in 1656. A soldier who fought on the Parliamentarian side in the Civil War, he was an extreme republican and one of the signatories of the death warrant of King Charles I.
