Zeppelin LZ3 airborne, Germany angle fighting RavanaZeppelin LZ3 airborne, Germany, c1906 1908 (1933). LZ3 was the first truly successful Zeppelin. The airship made 45 flights, travelling more than 4000 kilometres, between 1906 and 1908 before being purchased by the army. The airship's floating hangar can be seen in the left background.
