The fruit derives primarily from the mature, low vigour Sarahs Hill block. After traditional vinification, the wine is matured in new (50%) and seasoned French oak barriques for around 24 months. Intense blackcurrant, mulberry and cedar aromas, fine grained tannins, great concentration and underlying savoury oak typify the style.
