Three of them were published after the composer's death by his grandson, Jacques Ysaye, but the tude Pome in G minor, recorded here as a world premire, remained unpublished. Written in the summer of 1900 in the Belgian village of Sainte Marie Chevigny, soon after the tudes Pomes in A major and E b minor, this work was given it's first performance by the composer
