I have not opened this unit yet to see what is the Teac board number

scratch here or there I can send better photos if needed but all are mechanically sound

This is the piece of metal that holds the capstan in and that you should allow a little play when setting it up as the capstan should move about 1mm not be pressed hard against this to allow free movement and settle down when running

most people don't have a clue

TEAC A-3440 INTERNAL METAL SIDE PANEL LEFT I have not opened thisThis is a panel removed from an A 3440 no scratches good condition I know keep all the panels for this machine as there are thousands of these machines out there working or in storage , many get dropped so you need these panels. I have heard that people are using this panel to extend their machines to take the bigger reels possible, not sure how they manage that but I cannot get enough of this panel
