It dates from the 1950s, most likely Dutch due to it's two principal design motifs: windmills and ships. The hook and eye clasp connects with a small pendant with ornate floral design. Dating back to the 11th century, Dutch windmills were used to pump water out from the flat areas below sea level drastically increasing the available farming.
