Jura 2009 16 Year Old 1st FIll Oloroso Sherry Butt Finish Cask #16 54.4% 23 Year Old medium char American oak casksA fantastic Jura here bottled by Signatory Vintage for their Cask Strength Collection. Distilled on the 15th of April 2009, this 16 year old spent a finishing period in first fill Oloroso sherry butt, cask #16. Bottled on the 22nd of May 2025 at a cask strength of 54. 4% abv with no added colour or chill filtration. This is a rich, sweet whisky with a great coastal influence. Notes of dried fruits, hints of salt, toffee and warming spices await.
