Porter the Partridge landscape This is a contemporary paintingI love seeing and hearing the sound of partrdiges as it reminds me blissful days roaming Exmoor near my childhood home. Partridges are fantastic at keeping themselves hidden on the ground, but then suddenly explode in the air to startle any creature (or human) nearby!
