12 Gauge Viking Gjermundbu Helmet theatrical Width at Tip: 18Based on one of the most famous finds of the Viking era, the original Gjermundbu Helmet was recovered in Norway in 1943 and found in 9 fragments, which were later restored into the full helmet. This helmet is constructed of tough, highly protected 12 gauge steel. and features a darkened riveted maille aventail, and face cage hidden behind the aventail, connected below the spectacle. This is the ideal helmet for Viking Age reenacting with proper
