Greek-Jewish Musical Traditions/ Various - Greek-Jewish Musical Traditions / Various AEC Music Kie by Nie Te12In the summer of 1970, Dr. Amnon Shiloah captured a small sampling of the Greek Jewish musical tradition that had survived for millennia until the WWII era Holocaust nearly obliterated this community. The religious and secular vocals represent three styles: The Byzantine (Romaniot), the Judeo Spanish (Sephardic) and Italian (from Salento in Apulia Puglia).
