One story is that it was grown at Prince's Nursery in Flushing New York around 1790, the other that they arose from succulents on a dead Green Reine Claude tree at Delancy New York in 1814. It is also called White Egg Plum. Very large, oval plum, with grass green base color and warm yellow orange cover color. The pulp is juicy with a
