 |  | | The main subject for the exhibition is the "Atlantic Wall", the system of fortifications, which Hitler had built from Kirkenes in Norway to the Pyrenees. The exhibition tells about the daily life of the soldiers and their weapons, about the development of the ?Atlantic Wall? and about the conditions for the civilian population, who had to live in the shadow from the fortifications. The story of the?Atlantic Wall? focuses on the military installations in Denmark. The starting point is the "Fortress Hanstholm".During the Second World War, Northern Europe`s largest fortifications were constructed here, and the museum bunker is a central part of these.

| I udstillingen kan man og se, hvordan de tyske bunkere blev bygget. Hovedelementet er to meget detaljerede modeller af en bunker af typen ”Regelbau” 501 under bygning og efter støbningens afslutning.
